Practice 6
Private and family security
The private practice runs differently from the corporate one: fewer people involved, higher confidentiality requirements, a different pace.
The client's situation
- A nanny, driver, household staff member or new acquaintance needs checking.
- A private transaction is coming up — property, a vehicle, a major purchase.
- There are signs of pressure, manipulation or fraud directed at a family member.
- You want to know what information about your family is available to strangers.
What is usually at stake
- The safety of those close to you and the security of personal assets.
- Money paid under a transaction nobody checked.
- Family data left in the open.
- Decisions taken under emotional pressure.
The applicable approach
Risk assessment
We work through the specific situation and separate what genuinely creates a threat from what is anxiety.
Vetting people and transactions
Staff are screened with written consent; the parties and the subject of a transaction are checked against open and lawfully accessible sources.
Information hygiene
What strangers can find about your family, how to reduce it and which digital habits are worth changing.
Mental Shield
The owner's own project on protecting judgement from manipulation. It is an educational initiative, not medical or psychotherapeutic help.
Format of the deliverable
- A clear reading of the situation and a list of risks by significance.
- Practical steps the family can take itself.
- Where needed, support for a specific transaction or check.
Lawful boundaries
- We do not follow people, read other people's correspondence or install covert surveillance equipment.
- A person is screened only with their written consent.
- We do not provide psychotherapeutic or medical help and are not a substitute for seeing a doctor.
- We do not provide physical protection: that is licensed activity for guard companies.
FAQ
Can the work be done without my name reaching third parties?
Client information is not disclosed. We do not, however, promise “absolute anonymity”: the law sets out cases where information must be disclosed.
Will you find a person who has disappeared?
We can carry out lawful analytical work and interviews. A result cannot be promised and we do not promise one. If a person has disappeared, the police must be contacted in parallel.
Not sure which practice your situation belongs to?
Describe it in two or three sentences — we will tell you whether we are applicable and what the next step is.
